Senator Don Huffines Rated As One of the Top Conservatives in the Senate
Ranks as the 3rd and 4th Most Conservative Senator by the Texas Eagle Forum and Rice University's Mark Jones.
AUSTIN – State Senator Don Huffines (R – SD 16) was rated as one of the top conservatives in the Texas Senate during the 84th Legislative Session. These most recent rankings come from the Texas Eagle Forum and Mark Jones of Rice University, who studied the entire Senate based on a statistical analysis of 1,491 roll call votes.
